Six cups, one man, sixty-four years of tea.
Liang Jun De started making tea in Tongmu at fifteen. In 2005 he was there created Jin Jun Mei. He's still doing the work.
Join us for his portfolio tasting: three grades of his Jin Jun Mei, side by side — earliest pick, highest plot versus later, lower ground. You'll taste altitude and timing directly, not read about them.
Then three grades of his Lapsang Souchong — leaf grade against smoke integration. Top grade carries the pine quietly, tea still leads. Lower grade still leads the world influence.
One more on the table is a tea his son Liang Tian Meng gave me himself. Not for sale, not for comparison. Just a good reason to slow down.
Limited seats, one hand, learning what his style actually is, and how that changed the Chinese black tea in the last two decades.
