Some teas you drink. Some teas you experience. Thr Some teas you drink. Some teas you experience. Three makers, three Intangible Cultural Heritage inheritors of Wuyi Rock Tea:
Wang Shun Ming,
Liu Feng,
You Yu Qiong.
We'll pour each one's signature tea and taste how three pairs of hands read the same mountain.

Before tea was refined, it was roasted. In Yunnan, Before tea was refined, it was roasted.
In Yunnan, mountain communities still toast leaves over open fire. Smoke, char, bitterness, sweetness. Tea as it may have first been drunk.
Later, makers in Fujian and Guangdong gave that fire discipline. Charcoal, time, repetition. Heat became a way to build aroma and depth.
On November 22, we taste both ends of that line.
The lineup
Intro: 2026 Lu'an Gua Pian (Anhui)
Roasted green oolong: Spring and Fall Tie Guan Yin (Anxi, Fujian)
Dark oolong: Jasmine Fragrance Phoenix (Chaozhou, Guangdong) and Tie Luo Han (Wuyi, Fujian)
Toasted pu'er: 2026 Lincang Xi Gui, made by Lahu people. 2026 Menghai He Kai, made by Bulang people. Both Yunnan.
Small lots, sourced directly. [Only if true: The pu'er is not sold in Toronto. It is only available through this workshop.]
